White Indian 2020
White Indian 2020 serves as a personal journey and an in-depth exploration of my perspective as a multiethnic Native American living in America today. Through an interactive painting entitled White Indian, Red Indian, Wood Indian, I engage with identity through a critical analysis of my own experiences and contemporary indigenous meme culture. Alongside my work, I share poignant and personal stories relating to my own treatment of my heritage.As a multimedia artist, my work with White Indian is far from over. While my work so far has allowed me to begin finding personal acceptance, it is still a journey that I am taking.
