a record

A record is an ongoing experiment in translating the internal process of thinking to visuals through large scale printmaking, collage, and compilation of recorded materials. These works explore how the mind in different states of consciousness and thought can be recorded and then embedded within visual spaces- adapting thought from something that exists in the mind to something contained in physical mark making, and then translated for the digital screen. By gathering materials which acted as remnants of my own thought, including emails, photographs of my own artwork, and my google search history, I reconstructed visual mindscapes for singular moments in thought.
