3, 2, 1...blast off! Suit up with your spoon in hand because you’re going on a delicious adventure to outer space. Galactic is a space-themed brand that is focused on the relationship that elementary school-aged children have with learning and combines that experience with the classic frozen dessert: ice cream! When I was young, I would frequently gaze up at the sky and let my mind wander. My comprehension of space was limited, but my imagination was not, and I eventually fell in love with the galactic world that lies beyond us. Galactic’s rocket-themed ice cream packaging seeks to share this passion with children in a way that makes the experience enjoyable yet educational. While devouring the irresistible dessert, Galactic embarks children on a journey to outer space where they will learn about the planets in our solar system. A control panel resides on the side of each rocket packaging to teach them about a planet’s radius, distance from the sun, day length, and more! Additionally, an astronaut taking a spacewalk outside of the rocket will guide children through various “out of this world” facts about the planets. When the ice cream is gone, the fun doesn’t stop there. The eco-friendly paper packaging can be reused as a toy rocket—equipped with its own launch base—to ignite a child’s imagination about space.
