An Object of Adventure

In An Object of Adventure, I contemplate my fascination with a camera gifted to me by my father, who bought it from a local consignment shop. Despite the charm and allure of the camera’s bright orange color, amphibious qualities, and an assortment of equipment, I let it collect dust for a few years before actually using it. I began by investigating the past life of this camera and its underwater capabilities, but then found the joy of venturing into nature while photographing my father. Through the photographs I take and the video documentation of my adventures with the camera, I examine its new life with me and what I capture through its lens.
